A couple of things. !st is the track you are running on. Lionel engines like yours has magnetized axles and wheels. You loose all that pulling power running on MTH's Realtrax as the rails are Aluminum and Magne-traction won't work with that.

2nd, A Cruise Commander won't work with a AC motored engine.
