FWIW. These earlier offerings have more unique actual protoptype PM chuff and idle sounds, whereas the later ones got the "run of the mill" chuff and idle sounds Lionel began putting in most steamers.

I had forgotten those early a la carte offerings. They do further the notion that a release of the scale PE Berk will sell every 3-4 years (ish): 2008, 2010, 2014, 2017, 202X....
