Blue, I pointed out the error to a few folks at Lionel during York. They said they use archival records to do the actual lettering. You can be pretty certain it will be correct though they couldn't tell me what era will be done. I suspect given the location in the center of the tender it will done in the post '46 scheme. They have done both early and late lettering correctly in the past.
