Lionel B&A Berk Tender - prototype?

Love the look of the new scale Berk. Seems the locomotive is a pretty good rendition of a Boston & Albany 1400.

The tender is huge, which runs counter to B&A tradition. Did some 1400's get bigger tenders? Was thinking is this a tender Lionel has used before?
