I'm with @donhradio I get the catalog has the base 3 in it but I was really surprised at the lack of info on the delivery in either Lionel email, socials or the hour plus youtube video Lionel did on the catalog.

They know people are waiting and they know there are lots of rumors, just come out and say "its delayed until sometime this year due to component shortage". Even if that isn't true and it is some other reason, at least acknowledge the delay and let people know they understand the frustration and will get a new delivery date out as soon as they can.
