Ok, I agree easer to use the 2 wire interface. Do i need 1 of the LIONEL LEGACY LAYOUT CONTROL SYSTEM DB9 POWER SUPPLY & CABLE o gauge 6-81499. I see this spoken about along with the purchase of SER2 but i am not sure why I should need it?? Do you agree. Thanks so much for your help in navigating this.
