Lionel Boston & Maine GP-9

Hi, Just got my Lionel Boston & Maine GP-9, #6-8654 off the bay. Dealer said it was mint and it came today. It was indeed mint with no marks and chips to the white railing. What my question is, did Lionel make a dummy to go with this engine.
