The other windings are damaged as well. It really needs to be rewound which isn’t a difficult job. You could do it yourself. There has to be a reason why it was hitting the rivet and grinding it down is not the real answer. You need to find out why it was doing it. Did it have shim washers for example that have been left out from a previous repair?
