I have a conventional Lionel GP30 that I really like (save for the inexplicably misaligned rear steps). Because I don't have any Legacy engines, I can't compare the two, though I understand the Legacy sound package to be superior to the conventional one.

Murnane, I'd like to hear more about your Williams NYC GP30. I've been eyeing that engine also.
