How about the Special Issue of CTT from a few years back on Lionel Display Layouts? That 100 page magazine had loads of displays. I'll have to locate my copy which is in a pile somewhere.

Have to say that this one doesn't look like one of the familiar "D" series layouts. For one thing it's way bigger than the 4x8s, 5x9s or even 8x8s.
