If you already have the MPC rectifier, you can also simply swap the MPC traction tire power truck for a postwar truck with magnetraction. Two screws are all that’s involved.

I did this because the MPC unit that I had, had a wobble in one of the wheels. An easy swap and now the unit runs quieter.
