Lionel Ferris wheel motor? Noisy! Replacement?

Hi All, I bought a used Lionel Ferris wheel and all works well except the motor makes a lot of Grinding / scratching type noise. Everything is aligned from what I can tell so think might just be signs of early motor failure? Was wondering if any knows a replacement for it?
