Reply to "Lionel Hudson 785 with 6464 rolling stock"

Yes those scale sized Hudsons are "tight" and need to be run for a few hours to break in.  But once they are they run really smoothly. They are built very much like the postwar models which are good runners.  Mine came with a neat long stack motor too. I assume all of 784's did. It has several improvements over the 783. I just wish they painted them in real gunmetal like the prewar version.
