Ted, excuse my delay in responding. Yes, I did as you suggested and it does not appear there are any bumps or rises. One thing that has occurred to me is maybe I have a signal/ground plane issue along that back stretch of the track. I do have an elevated section of track above that area. I'm going to put a temporary ground plane wire under the elevated track and see if that makes a difference. If that doesn't fix the low throttle issue, I'll just not run it slowly.... :-)
