Lionel Legacy F3 and MTH O-31 Realtrax

I thought I was once told that the MTH Realtrax O-31 curves were a little tighter than Lionel because of the way the diameter is measured. Has anyone tried running the scale-sized Lionel F3 units on MTH Realtrax O-31 curves with success or do the wheels ride up on the rails?
