Why, You can always add those!
FYI I doubt that those mufflers were original OEM equipment for this loco.
Correct, i.e. NW2 units were NOT delivered new with those later, after-market, spark arrestors.
So unless you are looking to model it today, I doubt that it will be on thse stacks... but I could be wrong.
