Reply to "Lionel Legacy Version 1.5 for this listing?"

You get what is basically at least for now a lifetime warranty buying from a dealer.  As for the version of software, it doesn't really matter much as it can be upgraded easily enough.

Are you 100% sure on the lifetime warranty? Because in the Version 1.6 manual, it still says that it's a 1 year warranty. Can someone link on here where they got the information that it's lifetime?

And with software upgrade, it's not going to always be easily upgraded. If you somehow get a Legacy system with Version 1.0, you need to send it into Lionel so they can update it to Version 1.2 first and then you can proceed to update it to newer versions (at least from what I heard).

By the way, I found the system on a Hobby shop called "Mario's Trains" (Lionel Authorized) and they have the system for 330 dollars, and you can get another 15 dollars off with a promo code. Plus free shipping.
