I have never tried it, but I am about 98% sure that DCC wouldn't pose an issue. Since the first thing that happens on the LC board (standard, plus, plus 2.0) is a bridge rectifier and filter, it should be able to run on almost any power between around 9V to 18V AC or DC, or anything between. I'd be careful going over around 18V, but other than that, have at it.
