Hi Jeff: I purchased an MTH Premier Y6B in the year 2000. I still have it and it runs great. This was my first articulated engine and it has Protosounds on it. I was amazed that when I took it out of the box, oiled it up carefully --- it ran perfectly. MTH makes very good engines. This engine had the out of sync sounds of the pistons and when it sat on the track for a while and was started up, it had about 15 seconds of steam blow-off from the cylinders.
