Reply to "Lionel NEW Union Pacific 21 inch Excursion passenger cars -"

A question for those that have operated their dining cars.

When I place my dining car on the track with the under car light switch in the “On” position the interior lights do not work. Do the lights need to be activated with command control? Or am I missing something else?
