We are talking 3 rail O gauge trains so I would be happy with what I could get. Yes the same valve gear would be great but I don’t think Lionel or any other manufacturer would go through all of that work to sell maybe 500 to 1000 engines. I think with the correct headlight placement the SP Consolidation would make for a quite reasonable #40:
