Mine came back from Lionel a few weeks ago after the sound quit. It ran fine but would not produce chuff, whistle, or bell sounds. I tested it a couple nights ago and it performs like new. The Lionel tech gave me a personal 'Thank You' for the detailed description of the problem and what I tested before contacting them. Came back just as it was sent with a new RCMC bd. installed. Thanks Lionel!
