The motor change takes a turn. The picture you show Gunrunner John looks identical to the motors I received. Looking at old motor the pinion is further off the shaft. soooo , the new motor will engage worm gear but the end will not seat in bearing at bottom of truck. I started cking depth dimensions with dial calipers. There is a difference of .160 to seat in the lower bearing. I measured old and compared with new.So I tried to slide pinion off the shaft to take up this distance with my old slot car gear puller nope didnt touch it. Should I apply heat from propane torch?Any suggestions would be appreciated. Looks like a 'new' puller is the answer. I figured this is a easy swap earlier today. Now!!?
