In case anyone stumbles on this thread at a later point, RickO is 100% correct. The middle pin/plug is indeed hot/positive.

And these bricks are a vast improvement over the CW-80s that the replaced....and appear to much more "powerful" than my rebuilt KW.....FWIW.
