Lionel Post WW2 F3 Shell Horn Replacement

I'm, trying to replace a horn on the shell of a Lionel Post WW2 body.

Seems simple enough but as usual its not.

Got the old ones off, got the new ones on but hard to secure them tight to the body.

Any ideas?
