Reply to "Lionel Pre-War Factory Standard Gauge Display Layout _ Updated 2/12/21"

Brief update. I wanted a small control console , again something that looked like it "belonged". Used some leftover maple to form the framework. Top panel will be a piece of Masonite.

Very rudimentary in design it will hold a period correct Type "T" transformer on the left, No. 90  rheostat, main power switch, and a bank of 6 Lionel knife switches . The knife switches will control among other things the track power, bungalow and villa lighting, street lamps, station lighting and crossing gate/ warning bell. I'm thinking with this short loop that ringing warning bell might get to be too much after an hour or so :-)
