Recently, I bought a Lionel Reading 17607 Square Window Caboose with smoke. My layout runs predominantly with TMCC on 18 volts. This caboose came equipped with interior lights, smoke, and a flashing rear strobe light. My concern is that, since this is an older caboose, can I run it on a layout under 18 volts power without worrying about blowing up all of the electronics inside it due to putting too much electricity into the thing?
Here is a picture of the caboose in question. The shell is not fully screwed on because I was fiddling with it trying to get the strobe light to work properly. (It does)
