Good points; however, the 611 and OCS consist are alive and well. They could have matched the paint colors with the real things!

The color of the 611 stripe should be completely different from the OCS car color.
The 611 stripe should match the "Norfolk And Western" passenger cars, it is a non-metallic color.
The OCS cars are a metallic color and have a bit of purple tint to them.
Now, being that it seems to be too much to ask for everyone to get on the same page/color chart, they should at least match the color of their own cars from run to another.
