I really feel like the train sets (ready to run) lack the whole "stair case" method to going to a LC set to legacy since the LC stuff can't be ran on legacy therefore, the stair case stops there since if you get a 2.0 or legacy engine (and own legacy/tmcc) you can't run them on legacy. Yes, speed control would be nice in the LC sets.
