The SMWS sets are the 4 wheels only, you would normally re-use the gears from the original set. We can supply "DROP-IN" sets w/ gears, axles, & bearings to fit both Lionel or MTH 'BUILD-A-LOCO' motors w/ quartering, if used for steam locos. Additional cost is $25.00 per motor. Harry cool
