I saw lots of families there both days. Several shopping carts were full of starter sets and add-on track and accessories. There seemed to be more interest in the non-scale stuff this year. I did see a few recently released scale steamers but these weren't service dept refurbished ones, they were brand new in the box. I noticed the newly released Texas class Pennsy J1 #6500 for $1050.00 and the C&O T1 #3039 for $1200.00. They also had two of the recently released Challengers for sale as well. The UP #3949 and the Clinchfield #675 and I believe the price on those was $1400 each. By late morning on Saturday both Challengers were gone tho. Smoke fluid for $3.00 a bottle all scents and unscented. A great time again and look forward to next year!
