Lionmaster Cab Forward

I have a new Lionmaster Cab Forward, have a question regarding the whistle program options. When using the Cab-1, I get three different whistle sounds per the instruction book, but only obtain a long blast no matter how long I hold the button. Am I doing something wrong?
