Thanks for the info guys...after some further testing...turns out not only did I have 1 bad original LED...but the set of LEDs I got from Lionel had 1 bad one as well...luckily I ordered 2 pairs(you know..cause you never know). I attached the second pair and they both lit up. Man was I relieved and sorta upset w/ Lionel. So I installed the good pair and cobbled the 2 good single LEDs together to make a second working pair...so I guess it all worked out anyway. But geez...a bad LED right from Lionel...not cool Lionel.
