Hi Dave,

I know I'll probably end up like you with the Full-Blown Legacy 990 at some point but right now I only have the one Legacy SD80 MAC and all the rest are MTH P2 and P3 diesels (a total of 4 because my love affair with model railroading was rekindled only recently)but I must admit, I really like the MTH stuff. Being retired, I keep a watchful eye on my model railroad budget and MTH Railking offers a very nice locomotive usually at a reasonable price point. I try to buy "New" when I can and steer away from the "Used" because of the complexity of the modern electronics and the cost of repair. Don't get me wrong, I like the Legacy stuff, but I drive a FORD because I can't justify the extra cost of a LEXUS and they'll both get me to where I want to go. It's just that the LEXUS does it with more style. Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.
