TomlinsonRunRR, and Quarter Gauger48, Thank you, both, for what you said and for taking the time and effort to post your remarks about my layout modeling. I much appreciate the kindness.

247I enjoy having little people busy doing stuff, though, highlighted by nearby or attendant vehicles.

Regarding vehicles, they are something I have indulged myself with all along, as the layout grew and evolved. I realize, of course, that the vehicles I have presented in the various vignettes are not true to any specific era, but they gave me a smile when I bought them and put them in-place.IMG_0040 [3)

However, I do try to keep particular scenes generally, or at least vaguely true, to a time period.hangin out

Also, a major factor in their choices has also been that when we have had children visit the layout , if they have shown marked interest in any particular vehicle, we have always invited them to life it off the layout and take it home with them. So, that keeps an inventory roll-over operative, and we have great fun in the giving.

You are very welcome Frank'... I've commented on your fabulous modeling many times.  You deserve the accolades... Your layout and modeling is superb.  Nice to see youngsters like the cars and have interest in them.... Kids generally never forget that type of kindness as they grow up... Generosity goes a long ways........
