Rubin, I did something similar with my backdrop. It was custom painted by someone another forum member got to paint it for his old layout. I provided slots for the Masonite to fit in at the back of the layout, but wrestling the 12’ long section into place was a bear. It didn’t match up with the next section that well, maybe 3/4” off at the top of the trees, but I had had it, so I attached it to the wall with drywall screws and said good enough.
