Part of the reason my friend was over last night was to talk about building a detailed 3 rail modular layout along with another local to take to shows. All kadees on it have been talked about. That should be a fun journey to put on here!
Doug "LaidOffSick" has several videos on YouTube regarding installation of Kadee equipment. Doug has several tricks to adapt Kadees to tighter curves which include paring off the sides of the draft gear boxes to provide greater coupler swing, as demonstrated here:
