Another interesting thing about the set, and another reason I picked it up, is the Great Northern stock car that comes with it. This in fact is one of the Lionel scale stock cars with all the add-on metal details, cattle figures for the interior, etc. A very nice and rare car. It was odd that Lionel put this scale car in a traditional set. Curiously, the box label for the car says C&O stock car (!).

Yeah, I bought that stock car separately at some point myself. Nice car, definitely an odd label.
