Looking for some info on a K-Line EP-5.

I am looking to get some NH motive power and I’ve been looking at the EP-5 K-line version. Other than the skirts around the trucks and couplers that seem to disintegrate anyone have some experience with the engine good bad or indifferent? Thanks.
