Looking for tips or advices for the early Williams Dreyfuss Hudson to run

Hello guys and gals.....

I will be receiving the early 1984 Williams Dreyfuss Hudson in few days from a very nice gentleman from Hawaii and would like to know any advices or tips in making this early Hudson run well using the original motor and gearbox.   I will be installing the Dallee # 400 E-unit and put in the front of the boiler if possible.   I have NO plans for sounds (don't need them) and to avoid using the tether collected between the engine and tender.   I have seen pictures of this type of model on ebay, there is no flywheel on it and has large size can motor #550 instead of the #385 Mahubuci (spelling) motors used in lot of engines today.   I think this is a good size motor for a Hudson.  Any tips in gearbox to fine tune it ?  What about the siderods and axle bearings ?  Its not a bad looking engine but just a plain Jane scale Dreyfuss Hudson and looks much better than the old Lionel 773's that's for sure !!!   I know some of you guys have this early Williams Dreyfuss Hudson and how do you like it and what kind of work done to it ?

thanks guys
