Let's see, . . . 2-lane Pennsylvania, Altoona, Strasburg, Steamtown (Alcos), Philly, Palmyra, Chautauqua, Pittsburgh, and then maybe zig zagging along the Santa Fe from Chicago to Kansas City . . . that ought to be 5,000+ enjoyable miles.

Seriously; having grown up in PA along the old PRR Middle Division, the state is a must for anyone with an appreciation for railroading.
