Dave

Sounds like a perfect Sunday morning!

Here's a quick shot of the other sides. I've been using iThings to take pix lately so sorry about the lame-o quality. When I get some more scenery and detailing in place I will try to take some better shots.

Jim, I've been making OK progress when I can get the time. Right now I am building up a bunch of buildings so I can get this street section figured out. I got a little more ballasting done and things are running. I even bought a new engine (a Legacy PRR H16-44) and hooked up Legacy temporarily to help test things out.

Dave C, yes, these kits rule. I picked up the Stone Mill Models Pipe Shop (also his Sudbury Mill) this week and sent funds to Tom Yorke to try out his Fix-It Shop kit. I think these will all look cool together.

I don't us the DD sidewalks but I'm playing around with his rough brick/cobblestone streets. I set all my buildings on 1/4" masonite so they match up with the sidewalks I make from the same material. I typically do my concrete streets out of 1/8" masonite (Menard's has the best 1/8" masonite these days) so the 1/4" sidewalk height works out. The DD cobblestones are about 1/4" though so I will have to get creative to get everything set right.
