In my early HR days (1969-1973) worked in a company with a tool room, composed of 20 tool & die makers and machinists. This was in Chicago. In the NW suburbs was the Tool & Die Institute, which trained die makers for the entire Chicago market. All gone now. We're not laying a foundation for future wealth creation.
