Making motor mounts for Pittman swaps

FA074019-1910-4015-A5EB-86D51B85FBAC19BF9CD1-4CDD-42D8-99BA-31BB863EEEC6CC54AF7E-3A4B-4FB1-B5F7-7E04ED556ED5Ive been asked from a few folks how I make my motor mounts for all the Pittman swaps I do....I had to churn out a few for upcoming jobs, so I took a few pictures explaining the process on how I do it........I start with simple cheap raw materials, 1/2 inch mild steel fat bar, and grade 8 1/2 inch washers.....the washers are arranged on the flat bar with a little gap in a jig, then welded to the flat bar, as I need a mount, I cut one out and refine it to my liking for fitment .....this is in the raw stages, some more refinement, and then a couple of passes through a mill will true it up for final drilling.....not a whole lot of rocket surgery here...kinda simple.........☺️..........Pat
