The bullfrog control that Jackson linked is looking like a solution I would use. It has almost minimal visual on the layout and would allow a more proto stand from Right-O-Way that Greg linked. I found the original video that described the "Hediger hook" using bent paper clips. Since these are not spring steel they would eventually require maintenance over time. I like the over center spring simplicity but I'm not sure if the Atlas turnout would require a replacement throw and tie (not plastic) to stabilize the spring over the long term. I have never seen an Atlas OS2R turnout but recently ordered two. Thanks guys.
