I have a couple Marx 999 engine motors that are stuck in one direction. The e unit will cycle but only run in one direction, one motor in forward and the other reverse. I have sprayed them with contact clear to no avail. I can not see the contacts like a Lionel drum e unit but the little pendulum wire move but only from down to front or reverse but not to both. I am hoping not to have to remove the e unit and pry it apart to try to fix it.
Any easier way to fix it or see the contacts to clean? Thanks for reading.
