Does anyone have any tips on removing the wheels ?

I took mine apart to clean the armature after running it for a couple of days. But now the armature is locked up on something, when I push it toward the wheels and disengage the gears the wheels move freely but I can't rotate the armature.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
