Rjm, there are a number of threads on the brightness/color of Menard’s building lighting. I use a stepdown converter to power the lighting at 2.75-3vdc for my taste. And, use Tamiya X26 orange for changing the color from the blueish leds on the buildings. Personal taste is really at the forefront in lighting on our layouts. There are many members who like the lighting just as it comes from Menards. YMMV
