I don’t run tubular anymore except for a few sections but I have experience with Menards track. My LHS owner gave me some for free about a year and a half ago. It was the original kind- rough, galvanized, loose pins, it’s displaying rolling stock. That said, when I ordered 2 tubular 30(?) inch straights LAST Christmas they were just fine. Whether it was prewar, Postwar,modern conventional or original TMCC, had no problems. You could tell the quality of the track was different and they changed the original issues.

So, order directly from Menards and you shouldn’t have a problem, would be my advice.
