I just recently added a Menards Cripple creek lumberyard to my layout, powered using a buck converter set to 4.5 vdc. Wow, is it bright! It's got a lot of leds and they are the bright white variety. Looks like something off the set of ET.

I plan to tweak the buck converter output down a little to make it more realistic, we shall see how it goes. I could also change out the led strips to warm white, but the inside ones look near impossible to get to. It is a very neat model though!
